Sweesh
I got so tired of losing ideas mid-thought that I built my first software to solve it
Ideas don't wait for you to unlock your phone and open a notes app. They dissolve the second you context switch. I was losing complete product visions while watching podcasts or scrolling at 2 AM, not because I wasn't trying to remember them, but because every existing tool kept getting in the way. Google Keyboard AI disconnects mid-sentence. Windows speech-to-text butchers words or shuts off randomly. ChatGPT voice messages vanish after you dump 5 minutes of thoughts into them.
So I built Sweesh. Hold Ctrl+Shift+M, speak your idea, release, and it's already in your clipboard ready to paste anywhere. No app switching, no server uploads, no subscription fees to access your own thoughts. Everything stores locally on your device with encrypted API keys using Windows DPAPI. If I disappear tomorrow, this still works because your data stays yours.
This solved my exact problem of capturing half-formed concepts before they evaporate, and I shipped it in weeks using Electron, React, TypeScript, and Groq Whisper API during late nights fueled by pure frustration. Not perfect, probably won't change the world, but it works and I'm not losing ideas anymore.
